As an example, this is what I do to view chapter 5 of title 6 with japanese sound and english subtitles in fullscreen mode: mplayer -dvd 6 -dvd-device /dev/acd0c -alang ja -slang en -fs -cache 8192 -chapter 5 See "man mplayer" for (many!) more options.
