To make long story short, I did: 1. edit /var/yp/ypservers to make it single array of slaves. For example, server1 server1 server2 server2 server3 server3 ... to server1 server2 server3 ... 2. cd /var/yp && make Qurious, which of ypinit, yppoll is to be blamed. horio shoichi
