APM suspend-to-disk is known to work. ACPI suspend-to-disk is a different kettle of fish. Both Linux and the Windows ACPI HAL have been munged in interesting ways to make this possible. For us, we only do it if the BIOS supports it (see S4BIOS) right now. BMS
