What's the most direct way to cat an audio file into the sound card? The FreeBSD manual talks about wavplay or mpg123 or xmms, but what if I just want to send an audio file to the sound card without an application inbetween? (Reason why - I want to make a quick shell script to play my flac audio files. I can use sox to convert to wav or raw on the fly, but still can't get it to the sound card.)
