Hello All, I'm experiencing a crash from sysinstall booted from CD doing an upgrade. The crash occurs when the installation first starts processing the bin package. I've tried 5.2-BETA and a current-snapshot from yesterday. The current-snapshot is much happier about ACPI though it still complains that it can't find CPU0. I'll try 5.2-RC1 shortly. The crash itself looks like (copied by hand) kernel: type 12, code=0 stopped at _mtx_lock_flags+0x43 cmpl $0c0b893c,0 db> wh _mtx_lock_flags(0,0,c0865e5b,900,0) ufs_setdirty bdwrite ffs_update ufs_vnoperate vrele kern_chown syscall Xint syscall(16,FreeBSD Elf32, chown) --Mat -- The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation. - Pierre Elliott Trudeau
