Sometime in the last couple of days (I did a checkout after a CVSup Wed morning), the ruby18 port now dies on a sigsev: cd ports/lang/ruby18 make deinstall make reinstall pkgdb -F ---> Checking the package registry database [Updating the pkgdb <format:bdb1_btree> in /annex/var/db/pkg ... - 541 packages found (-2 +1) (...)/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/pkgdb.rb:467: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.1 (2003-12-25) [i386-freebsd4] Anyone else seeing this? I haven't seen any scuttle on the lists... I _think_ this is ruby-1.8.1_2. The makefile is dated: # $FreeBSD: ports/lang/ruby18/Makefile,v 1.73 2004/03/14 00:18:21 kris Exp $ Unfortunately, this hoses all of the ports managment tools, so I don't know how to convently unpeel this mess.. -- Brian Reichert <reichert@numachi.com> 37 Crystal Ave. #303 Daytime number: (603) 434-6842 Derry NH 03038-1713 USA BSD admin/developer at large
