I've actually installed freebsd/sparc64 5.2.1 on a Sun Netra V100, which is similar in concept to the machine you describe (sparc64 processor, IDE disks). My Ultra-10 that I use at home also has this in common. Not a ton of useful information to add here, I'm sorry to say, but I've not had a need to look into this more closely -- it just works. >hi... > >i'd like to ask whether freebsd has support donovan >products...it's 1U with sparc64 proccessor and sun >mainboard but with ide hard disk > >this is the model number : E300R1-PGA > >i'd tried to boot using openbsd bootdisk..it can boot >but can't install because it detect no drive > >i'd tried to boot using freebsd bootdisk but i c>an't >make bootdisk..it said not have sufficient space> > >go to www.donovan.com.my if you want to see donovan >products > >thanks in advance __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
