Am I correct that I'd have to download j2eesdk-1_4-linux.bin from java.sun.com if I want to compile servlets under Freebsd (5.2.1) and tomcat 5.0 (jdk1.4.2 native)? Or is there a native j2ee for FreeBSD? Trying to install /usr/ports/java/j2sdkee13 yields: >> j2sdkee-1_3_1-linux.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/. >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/. fetch: ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/j2sdkee-1_3_1-linux.tar.gz: File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access) >> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this >> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/ and try again. *** Error code 1 -- Chris Christoph P.
