The instructions in the handbook: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/makeworld.html say to run 'make installworld' after running 'mergemaster -p'. I have successfully (to my knowledge) run mergemaster, and the master password file in /usr/src does have the 'proxy' user. However, installworld fails because user 'proxy' is non-existent. The manpage for mergemaster says that -p is a pre-buildworld switch, but that's not what the handbook says to do. What am I missing? -Clint
