So, you're running 5.2 on those systems, which was documented as a development release and not recommended for use on production systems (and indeed contained numerous rough edges and bugs), and you're scared to update to 5.3 which is going to be designated as the beginning of the 5.3-STABLE branch (and has had a couple of months of extensive bugfixing and QA)? You might want to consider re-evaluating your position.
