Hello, I have a 4.10 system, and I upgraded the ports/databases/mysql41-server (-rHEAD), so that Makefile shows the mysql version 4.1.7. The make line looks like: make DB_DIR=/db/mysql OVERWRITE_DB=no PREFIX=/usr/local/mysql-4.1.7 WITH_LINUXTHREADS=yes BUILD_STATIC=yes install and results in the following error: gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client/work/mysql-4.1.7/include' Making all in libmysql_r gmake[2]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client/work/mysql-4.1.7/libmysql_r' source='libmysql.c' object='libmysql.lo' libtool=yes \ depfile='.deps/libmysql.Plo' tmpdepfile='.deps/libmysql.TPlo' \ depmode=gcc /bin/sh ../depcomp \ --preserve-dup-deps --mode=compile cc -DDEFAULT_CHARSET_HOME="\"/usr/local/mysql-4.1.7\"" -DDATADIR="\"/db/mysql\"" -DSHAREDIR="\"/usr/local/mysql-4.1.7/share/mysql\"" -DDONT_USE_RAID -DMYSQL_CLIENT -I. -I. -I.. -I../include -DDBUG_OFF -O -pipe -march=pentiumpro -D__USE_UNIX98 -D_REENTRANT -D_THREAD_SAFE -I/usr/local/include/pthread/linuxthreads -c -o libmysql.lo `test -f 'libmysql.c' || echo './'`libmysql.c --preserve-dup-deps: not found gmake[2]: *** [libmysql.lo] Error 127 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client/work/mysql-4.1.7/libmysql_r' gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client/work/mysql-4.1.7' gmake: *** [all] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql41-client. *** Error code 1 Anyone any ideas? Thanks, bogdan PS: Please include my email in the reply, I'm not subscribed to freebsd-ports...
