I'm currently testing tin. I found out that the --with-screen=3Dncurses=20 configure switch breaks the displaying of multibyte-characters (i'm using t= he=20 de_DE.UTF-8 locale). Neither using --with-screen=3Dcurses nor=20 =2D-with-screen=3Dncursesw (configure chokes on this option with a message = like=20 "ncursesw.h not found") fixed this. Only disabling this configure option=20 makes tin to behave correctly. But without curses-support scrolling=20 off-screen is rather slow. I've attached some screenshots of tin in konsole with de_DE.UTF-8 locale. t= in=20 behaves this way with and without ANSI-colors. best regards Martin =2D-=20 Jabber-ID: tenco@jabber.ccc.de http://www.jabber.org An Anarchist FAQ Webpage: http://www.anarchismfaq.org --nextPart2453780.RuEDJBF0d3 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCnKJvituPSWPX2AIRAg5IAJ9PXf7/RkE/6S4llyac0pT6PDueqwCZAWIR UR3R6w9VtkiF56zUT9fqbZA= =NopW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2453780.RuEDJBF0d3-- --Boundary-00=_vJKnCoTZeUYXxH6--
