Please forgive me if I've missed something obvious, but I've googled for this error and get no results. I want to add a new user with the pw command: root@alfie# cat /etc/pw.conf shellpath = /bin,/usr/bin/,/usr/local/bin shell = sh,csh, tcsh, bash defaultshell = bash root@alfie# which bash /usr/local/bin/bash but ... root@alfie# pw useradd testuser pw: no default shell available or defined Does anyone know why I get this error message? Thanks Ashley
