I want to enable direct renering on my Fujitsu Siemens P7010PM but when I i= nclude the i915drm to the kernel I get the following messages at boot-time: drmsub0: <Intel i852GM/i855GM GMCH> port 0x2430-0x2437 mem 0xd8000000-0xdff= fffff ,0xd0000000-0xd007ffff irq 11 at device 2.0 on pci0 error: [drm:pid0:drm_load] *ERROR* Card isn't AGP, or couldn't initialize A= GP. device_attach: drmsub0 attach returned 12 drmsub1: <Intel i852GM/i855GM GMCH> mem 0xe0000000-0xe7ffffff,0xd0080000-0x= d00ff fff at device 2.1 on pci0 error: [drm:pid0:drm_load] *ERROR* Card isn't AGP, or couldn't initialize A= GP. device_attach: drmsub1 attach returned 12 Huh, really? THIS is the message I get when I don't have the i915drm in the kernel: agp0: <Intel 82855GME (855GME GMCH) SVGA controller> port 0x2430-0x2437 mem= 0xd8000000-0xdfffffff,0xd0000000-0xd007ffff irq 11 at device 2.0 on pci0 detected 8060k stolen memory aperture size is 128M So, what I want to do is to "steal" more memory to enable drm and dri. What could be the problem? --=20 MVH Peter Ankerst=E5l.
