The official name of the list (the one that the list server would recognize) is freebsd-ports@, however, many (all?) FreeBSD lists have shorthands that you can use: questions@ -> freebsd-questions@ gnome@ -> freebsd-gnome@ security@ -> freebsd-security@ ... Fernan
