Hi James. I'm using X60s, too. (model 1702-23I) What do you use any X.org driver? If you are using vesa driver, please try this patch to xorg-server. http://www.alib.jp/files/patch-i945GM.txt I was installed FreeBSD 7-CURRENT in apr 9 2006, but i810 driver cannot find i945GM Express chip. But, this driver supports to i945G. The patched X.org 6.9.0 server can find i945GM Express chip. -- KONDOU, Kazuhiro @ Ancient library site top URL : http://www.alib.jp/ mail address : kazuhiro@alib.jp fingerprint = 18CA 90A9 FDEE FBE1 F69A D124 9F95 9289 E665 4D2B On Tue, 09 May 2006 19:14:58 +0100 "James O'Gorman" <james@netinertia.co.uk> wrote: > Hi all, > > I just got my ThinkPad X60s (model 17045LG) and thought I'd post my > results so people know what works and what doesn't. > > Out of the box, the following works: > > * Dual-core CPU > * Builtin ethernet (em(4)) > * Internal and external displays > * USB/Firewire > * Mouse pointer (with moused) > > It only works with >6.0 though.
