Oops... I oversaw that feedback from 2006-04-28... Sorry for that... Was not
intentional...

And no: There is still no hw.acpi.thermal with R6.1...

But
  mbmon -d -I
reports:
  Using ISA-IO access method!!
  * Int.Tec.Exp. Chip IT8705F/IT8712F or SIS950 found.

Maybe my acpi does not have thermal things... Although (as far as I recall it)
SuSE Linux found some ACPI thermal sensor and was able to do ACPI
power-down/wake-up nicely (in contrast to FBSD)...

But this is really not so important, since I dont need perfect ACPI support...
