Do you know any information about that? Please use iwi(4) from RELENG_6 (soon to be 6.2), which has many improvements and bug fixes over the version that was shipped with 6.1. Note that it uses the firmware(9) subsystem to load the firmware image, so you will have to change to net/iwi-firmware-kmod from ports - as described in UPDATING.
