Don't forget to set the input to the tuner (-t) or you'll probably record static. You should check with AFC turned off just in case. Also re-verify that you have the cable connected to the UHF input and *not* the FM input. Usleep spent a week trying to fix my tuning problem and I had the coax connected to the FM input accidentally-- even after checking it three times!
