Recently it was reported on QEMU development mailing list: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2007-01/msg00285.html For more than a year, I have been running QEMU with SMP support disabled because of this issue. Today I finally found some time to tackle this and got a fix. FYI...
