This may be an off-by-one issue:  I have two APs with the same SSID;
one on channel 1; the other on channel 6.  But:

As you see, the an0 NIC (a PCMCIA part) is the only one in use (as
the miniPCI wi0 still doesn't associate).

I don't expect that this is a critical issue, but it could be confusing.
