On an acer 5520-5679 laptop, Nvidia 7000m only works with the vesa driver. Is there a way to use an nv driver that should take advantage of the card itself? I'm running: AMD64 Current from the latest snapshot: FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT-200712 #0: Sun Dec 30 11:33:37 CST 2007 root@local15.local.net.mx:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ENCONTACTO amd64 The pciconf -lv: vgapci0@pci0:0:18:0: class=0x030000 card=0x01261025 chip=0x053310de rev=0xa2 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Nvidia Corp' class = display subclass = VGA Thanks, ed
