The following reply was made to PR i386/120609; it has been noted by GNATS. We can't use >5.4 because there is no AFS client available and we depend on AFS. dumpdev wasn't set to default in our rc.conf, I have done so now and will reboot the machine tomorrow morning to be sure to get a dump next time (if it happends). Because like I said, this has happend one time during a whole month, so it's not like I can reproduce it. I don't think the machine was under a lot of load at the moment either. And it's not a slow computer, P4 3.2Ghz Dual Processor with HT and 2GB of RAM. -- Regards, Simon Lundström System Technician IT Services, Stockholm University
