Note that this mb/vc combo worked well at 2048x1546 on a Dell Monitor.
But when I plug in the Acer LCD, the monitor displays the message
"invalid input" until I change the driver spec to "VESA", and no
combination of parameters that I have yet tried makes the monitor work
at 1440x900. All of my circles are ellipses as a result.
