You can quit after 10 subshells. Seems to work fine, I even went further than 50 subshells. However, I noticed now that this server has an old bash, bash-2.05b.007_6. I did a portmaster -o shells/bash bash-2.05b.007_6 and now upgrade of tk works fine! Thanks for your help! Peter Olsson
