I updated googleearh, and it works even better than the old one. 

I'm running 7.0-RELEASE-p1 with linux_futex.* from current and the leatest 
radeon driver from git.

Of curse, I get the terminal messages:

linux: pid 2226 (googleearth-bin): syscall truncate64 not implemented

But still the program runs perfectly fine.
