Hi, When will we see the first BSD licensed Verilog code in the CVS repository and how will the mtree file look ? I was envisioning that FreeBSD.org will one day host the description for a complete computer system ranging from hardware to software and not just the software part. If security is the focus we should not be supporting anything but USB devices and the alike. Devices having direct DMA access to the system can pose a security risk like any other malware. My simple view of the trust chain: - God <- we should not have doubt in the atoms and the electrons ? - hardware <- we could be here - software <- we are currently here - salesman <- too obvious --HPS Ref: http://www.eetimes.com/news/semi/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=174903513 Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_We_Trust
