One thing I notice with it is that the screen connection is not perfect. I question how well it will last given that it sometimes needs to be wiggled to get the screen connection right. Buyer beware! Things that work: DVD, Display (Nvidia with the nv driver in Xorg), USB, Wireless, Network, Audio. Things that aren't supported: webcam, winmodem. Things I haven't tried: firewire, flash card reader, Nvidia binary driver. I got the 1720 not long before making the trip to BSDcan and I haven't had time to spend playing around with the bits and pieces. It works well with DTrace on FreeBSD and I was able to use it for presentations at Yahoo and BSDcan. -- John Birrell
