Seconded. Since reading this I just noticed sshguard-ipfw hasn't been running on my server ever since I ran "portmaster sshguard-ipfw" to rebuild it. (I upgraded from FreeBSD 6.3 to 6.4 recently and took the opportunity to rebuild all my installed ports...) I really wasn't expecting "make deinstall" to comment it out!
