I am having trouble getting the amarok port to compile. here is the end of the compile failure: /usr/local/bin/moc ./njbmediadevice.h -o njbmediadevice.moc.cpp /bin/sh /usr/local/bin/libtool --silent --tag=3DCXX --mode=3Dcompile c++ = -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../../.. -I../../../../amarok/src -I../../../../am= arok/src -I../../../../amarok/src/amarokcore -I../../../../amarok/src/amaro= kcore -I../../../../amarok/src/engine -I../../../../amarok/src/engine -I../= =2E./../../amarok/src/mediadevice -I/usr/local/include/taglib -I/usr/loca= l/include -I/usr/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -pthread -DQT_THREAD_SUPPOR= T -I/usr/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wp= ointer-arith -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -fno-exce= ptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -= DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT njbmediadevice.moc.lo -M= D -MP -MF .deps/njbmediadevice.moc.Tpo -c -o njbmediadevice.moc.lo njbmedia= device.moc.cpp mv -f .deps/njbmediadevice.moc.Tpo .deps/njbmediadevice.moc.Plo /bin/sh /usr/local/bin/libtool --silent --tag=3DCXX --mode=3Dlink c++ -W= no-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pip= e -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLE= AN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLAT= ION -avoid-version -module -no-undefined -R /usr/local/lib -R /usr/local/= lib -R /usr/local/lib -R /usr/local/lib -R /usr/local/lib -D_THREAD_SAFE -p= thread -L/usr/local/lib -D_THREAD_SAFE -pthread -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/= local/lib -o libamarok_njb-mediadevice.la -rpath /usr/local/lib/kde3 njbmed= iadevice.lo playlist.lo track.lo njbmediadevice.moc.lo ../../../../amarok/= src/libamarok.la -lkdeui -lkdecore -lnjb -Wl,-export-dynamic -L/usr/local/l= ib -ljpeg -L/usr/local/lib gmake[5]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/audio/amarok/work/amarok-1.4.10/ama= rok/src/mediadevice/njb' Making all in mtp gmake[5]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/audio/amarok/work/amarok-1.4.10/am= arok/src/mediadevice/mtp' /bin/sh /usr/local/bin/libtool --silent --tag=3DCXX --mode=3Dcompile c++ = -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../../.. -I../../../../amarok/src -I../../../../am= arok/src -I../../../../amarok/src/amarokcore -I../../../../amarok/src/amaro= kcore -I../../../../amarok/src/engine -I../../../../amarok/src/engine -I../= =2E./../../amarok/src/mediadevice -I/usr/local/include/taglib -I/usr/loca= l/include -I/usr/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -pthread -DQT_THREAD_SUPPOR= T -I/usr/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wp= ointer-arith -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -fno-exce= ptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -= DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT mtpmediadevice.lo -MD -M= P -MF .deps/mtpmediadevice.Tpo -c -o mtpmediadevice.lo mtpmediadevice.cpp /usr/local/include/libmtp.h: In member function 'virtual MediaItem* MtpMedi= aDevice::copyTrackToDevice(const MetaBundle&)': /usr/local/include/libmtp.h:489: error: too many arguments to function 'int= LIBMTP_Send_Track_From_File(LIBMTP_mtpdevice_t*, const char*, LIBMTP_track= _t*, int (*)(uint64_t, uint64_t, const void*), const void*)' mtpmediadevice.cpp:302: error: at this point in file mtpmediadevice.cpp: In member function 'uint32_t MtpMediaDevice::getDefault= ParentId()': mtpmediadevice.cpp:383: warning: deprecated conversion from string constant= to 'char*' /usr/local/include/libmtp.h: In member function 'LIBMTP_album_t* MtpMediaDe= vice::getOrCreateAlbum(QPtrList<MediaItem>*)': /usr/local/include/libmtp.h:533: error: too many arguments to function 'int= LIBMTP_Create_New_Album(LIBMTP_mtpdevice_t*, LIBMTP_album_t*)' mtpmediadevice.cpp:532: error: at this point in file /usr/local/include/libmtp.h: In member function 'uint32_t MtpMediaDevice::c= reateFolder(const char*, uint32_t)': /usr/local/include/libmtp.h:508: error: too few arguments to function 'uint= 32_t LIBMTP_Create_Folder(LIBMTP_mtpdevice_t*, char*, uint32_t, uint32_t)' mtpmediadevice.cpp:611: error: at this point in file /usr/local/include/libmtp.h: In member function 'void MtpMediaDevice::playl= istFromItem(MtpMediaItem*)': /usr/local/include/libmtp.h:521: error: too many arguments to function 'int= LIBMTP_Create_New_Playlist(LIBMTP_mtpdevice_t*, LIBMTP_playlist_t*)' mtpmediadevice.cpp:916: error: at this point in file gmake[5]: *** [mtpmediadevice.lo] Error 1 gmake[5]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/audio/amarok/work/amarok-1.4.10/ama= rok/src/mediadevice/mtp' Stop in /usr/ports/audio/amarok. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/audio/amarok. # ^D=08=08exit Script done on Mon Dec 29 11:33:50 2008 Can anyne sugest how to resolve this? --=20 One of the main causes of the fall of the roman empire was that, lacking zero, they had no way to indicate successful termination of their C programs.
