There is an expression in Makefile:
=2Eif ${ARCH} =3D=3D "amd64" || ${ARCH} =3D=3D "ia64"
CFLAGS+=3D -fPIC
=2Eelse
CFLAGS+=3D -fpic
=2Eendif
However, the value "-fPIC" is not added to the variable CFLAGS.
In what may be the problem?
