First, I'd suggest using 'Option "Position" "1280 0"' in the Monitor
section of the right monitor. (I'd also add "Position" "0 0" to the left
monitor. It's just cleaner than xrandr since the monitor is correct from
the start.

Second, the Generic Event Extension is new to xorg-server 1.6 which is
still not out. Last I heard, about two weeks ago, it was expected to be
released any day. Maybe Robert Noland knows something a bit more current
about the status of 1.6. the error is totally cosmetic and can be
ignored.
