The SFP (SourceForge Project) name for the macro is a bit more descriptive than just "new". It also readds the garr mirror. Looking at the link Hans send earlier in this thread, it is clear that the subdirectory under /project/ is now individual to each project, so you're right that it has to be set explicitly for every port now, unfortunately, although I've kept the default value.
