Another question about scanners and FreeBSD 8.0-stable: what happened to uscanner(4)? The man page is there, but the module is not? tingo@kg-v2$ uname -a FreeBSD kg-v2.kg4.no 8.0-STABLE FreeBSD 8.0-STABLE #1: Wed Jan 6 21:21:40 CET 2010 root@kg-v2.kg4.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 tingo@kg-v2$ man -k uscanner uscanner(4) - USB Scanners tingo@kg-v2$ ls -l /boot/kernel/uscan* ls: /boot/kernel/uscan*: No such file or directory tingo@kg-v2$ ls -l /boot/kernel/*uscan* ls: /boot/kernel/*uscan*: No such file or directory Yes, I am still trying to get my Agfa Snapscan 1212u to work under FreeBSD 8.0-stable. -- Regards, Torfinn Ingolfsen
