I probably missed it, but according to the "20110823:" entry in UPDATING, the ruby port was downgraded to 1.8. My first question is why? Second, when checking on which version I have installed, this is the output: ruby --version ruby 1.9.2p290 (2011-07-09 revision 32553) [amd64-freebsd8] I therefore assume that I only have version 1.9 installed. Is that correct? Third, is there really any reason to go though all that bullshit to downgrade to the previous version? I have not seen any problems occurring on my system. -- Jerry ✌ jerry+ports@seibercom.net Disclaimer: off-list followups get on-list replies or get ignored.
