HI! FreeBSD 8 uses a strange notation for multicast routes with interface local scope something like: ff01:3::/32 Here '3' is the scope id of the interface. OpenBSD uses the same notation as proposed in RFC 4007 for link local scompe multicast addresses: ff01::%fxp1:/32 Why does FreeBSD use a different notation? Rainer.
