I prefer to add some of the extensions for these apps through the ports infrastructure (www/xpi-*) instead of through the app's add-on menu. After www/firefox is updated (or re-installed), then started, one sees that all the add-ons installed through www/xpi-* have disappeared, while add-ons installed through firefox's add-on menu remain. One must deinstall and reinstall every single www/xpi-* port one wants on his system in order to get firefox add-ons back the way they were before the update. ** I had previously submitted a PR concerning this, but there has been no response. >How-To-Repeat: Install Firefox, install any www/xpi-* port.
