FreeBSD 9.0-STABLE #0 r235991: Sat May 26 14:20:06 EEST 2012 amd64
>Description:
I use Firefox and Seamonkey. I prefer to add some of the extensions for these apps through the ports infrastructure (www/xpi-*) instead of through the app's add-on menu.

After www/firefox is updated (or re-installed), then started, one sees that all the add-ons installed through www/xpi-* have disappeared, while add-ons installed through firefox's add-on menu remain. One must deinstall and reinstall every single www/xpi-* port one wants on his system in order to get firefox add-ons back the way they were before the update.

** I had previously submitted a PR concerning this, but there has been no response.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install Firefox, install any www/xpi-* port. Then remove Firefox and re-install it.
