But is terrible slow: printing a 2.9 MByte Postscript file (containing a bit map, because it was concerted from a PDF file) gives: $ ls -l fra.ps -rw-r--r-- 1 guru wheel 2951274 19 jun 17:44 fra.ps $ date ; cat fra.ps > /dev/unlpt0 ; date ; cat fra.ps > /dev/ulpt0 ; date Sat Jun 21 11:43:12 CEST 2014 Sat Jun 21 11:58:48 CEST 2014 Sat Jun 21 12:14:51 CEST 2014 i.e. takes around 15 minutes, regardeless of the used device, 3.2K per second.
