Thanks for the replies everyone. If "-logverbose -1" works as stated, that's great. However, I need the display manager to start from rc.conf as service and wi= thout intervention from command-line. SO I need to specify that in a config file somehow - either xorg.conf OR th= e service rc.d start-up script of display manager (I use Slim and not XDM) = OR otherwise. It seems that modifying the rc.d script would be the best option? Regards.
