What has changed? Your system has 16 GB RAM, but only ~8 GB is available? Why? Are you tuning some vm sysctls? Are you using ZFS? Have you tried a newer release (9.3 or 10.1)? stable/8 reaches EOL soon (June 30th). -- Herbert
