Just in case I've misunderstood the format for /etc/devfs.rules, here is what I'm using: [system=5] add path 'usb/*' mode 0660 group operator add path 'xpt*' mode 0660 group operator I am a member of the operator group. -- Anthony Campbell http://www.acampbell.uk
