The few mobile devices I have are not connected to me with personal identification data. I avoid companies that want my name, address, bank information or phone number. And just for transfering fotos, that's too much to ask for. :-) However, I will check (next week) if the iPad has been registered, and how the "purchasing" of apps from the App Store is to be performed. The upcoming problem I see is that... I don't know! Can a FTP or NFS client on the iPad access the fotos taken by the camera? "App sandboxing" and "use only with app"? The best is Image Transfer app on the Mac. I had to go this way for one client. This is also a problem. I do not trust Dropbox with personal identification data, nor do I trust Dropbox with the images I want to transer. > It's not speedy, but it works. Speed doesn't even matter. An easy solution within a trusted WLAN would not be a problem, even if transfering the images should take a few hours. -- Polytropon Magdeburg, Germany Happy FreeBSD user since 4.0 Andra moi ennepe, Mousa, ...
