It may not be double buffer but I'm banking on that > behavior. You might be onto something here. I swapped the modules so I now have 8 - 4 - 8 - 4 in slots 1 to 4 respectively. And that gives me: real memory = 25769803776 (24576 MB) avail memory = 12410671104 (11835 MB) That at least tells me that 8GB modules are supported. I'll have to check yet again if there's a setting in the bios for doublebuffering. -- Eivind Nicolay Evensen
