Folks: I'm following the docs at docs.freebsd.org. There's a line which dictates: git clone https://git.freebsd.org/ports.git /usr/ports This results in a redirection error. The error: Cloning into '/usr/ports' fatal: unable to update url base from redirection: asked for: https://git.freebsd.org/ports.git/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack redirect: https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports Nothing is downloaded at /usr/ports and in fact the directory doesn't exist. Normally I would suspect I did something wrong, but this more like the docs haven't been updated, or things moved unexpectedly. Any clues? Paul -- Paul M.
