I see from various searches that netmap support was added to ixl(4) -- *but* the code isn't there in 10.2. I'd like to be able to use it for packet capture, because regular BPF on this interface (XL710) isn't even able to keep up with 2 Gbit/s, never mind 20 Gbit/s. Can anyone explain what happened -- was this code simply never integrated, or did it get blown away in some later Intel vendor import? -GAWollman
