I'm seeing panics too, after suggesting that everything was cool and froody. :-) I don't have to start X, I get a panic as soon as I try to mount_mfs -- 100% reproducible. Someone else posted a backtrace, the one that incriminates checkalias(), I think? Ciao, Sheldon.
