Hello, all. It's ironic that I have helped some ppl out with Samba and now I can't make it work myself. the error msg from the log file is: >Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host brain.mpc.com.br. >Added interface ip=150.150.150.156 bcast=150.150.150.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 >Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host. brain.mpc.com.br I had to use the interfaces parameter under [global] to make samba recognize my interface card. It seems to be a DNS problem; I don't have DNS installed on this machine. It's a 2.2.5R with the samba pkg provided in the CD. Any takers ?
