Hi When I try to kill a process using kill -TERM 'cat /var/run/named.pid' or similar it won't let. I keep getting the error message: No such pid cat /var/run/named.pid Is there a way to kill a process with out opening the pid file??? Thanks ------------ Lee Johnston ljohnston@cyberworld.demon.co.uk http://www.cyberworld.demon.co.uk ---------------------------------
