Greetings, I am currently a student at Portland Community College in Portland Oregon. I am a CS student and am very interested in setting up UNIX on my box at home. I have looked around and am a little confused at the differences between the different 'free' flavors of UNIX out there. For instance what would be the main advantages to selecting freeBSD over say Linux? Is there a korne shell in freeBSD? I am a novice UNIX user and will taking some C courses that are UNIX based and would appreciate any comments or suggestions you can offer me. Thanks for your time and knowledge, Brett Delia art2pres@spiritone.com
