No, I'm using it on a HP Omnibook and a Compaq 4120

1) You can also install from a MSDOS partition, by making a freebsd
directory on your msdos partition.
2) You can manualy boot FreeBSD from DOS (a partition), (don't forget to
load the cdrom drivers!) and install from your cdrom drive.
Maybe there are various other ways of installing FreeBSD, but these came
quickest to mind.

Some XF86Config's are available at
http://www.linux.org/hardware/laptop.html
I don't know if there are Libretto configfiles present, but it helps
having some examples. I know for sure that there are some Omnibook and
Compaq config files, maybe the admin of the pages has a XFConfig for
Libretto or knows ppl that have it

What do you mean by a floppy interface ?

I don't have experience with PAO, but by reading this mailinglist I've
got the impression that it's a kind of portable (as in portable
computer) version of FreeBSD, but the others can help you with that.

I hope it helps,

Mike.
